Happy Birthday, Buddha !!

The Flower Festival (Buddha’s Birthday) is celebrated on April 8th in Japan. Though not as intensely celebrated by Buddhists as Christmas is by Christians, there are many events going on at temples this day. It is a time for parents to pray for the healthy growth of their children as well. Several kindergarten have their students deliver flowers to temples on this day.
