What is a “YUGATA”?
Yukata is a Japanese traditional garment and is worn at Japanese summer festivals, fireworks displays, Bon Odori festivals, Japanese dance (Nihon-buyo) practices, parties, costumes in Halloween and other occasions. It is easy to put on and can be used as loungewear or bathrobe at spas, hotels, and Ryokan (Japanese inns). It can also be worn over clothes as a glamorous kimono cardigan.
