They promote a week’s worth of events and learning activities across the country on the theme of “water”. However there doesn’t seem to be so much in English about this day. Definitely check out the fine government resources below and hit up Google Translate to find an event in your local area!\nHow to enjoy Water Day\nPlease be careful of playing in rivers, the waters can be treacherous. However, there are places here and there where you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and even fly fishing! If you live near the ocean then a day at the beach may be a great way to relax in keeping with a water theme. In special places there are cormorant fishing boats that you can take that offer an evening of cormorant fishing by torchlight. Good fun and not something that most of us can enjoy in our home countries.
